Getting Credit
The National Small Business Association tells us that fifty-nine percent of small businesses financed their needs by using credit cards. Another thirty-three percent claimed that in this last year, their line of credit was decreased.
Even with this news, it is still possible for small businesses to find credit and one way is to keep several cards open so that line is open when the need arises. Of course you want to look at those interest rates to be sure you are getting a deal. These business owners should also check to see what rewards the card offers and if they are useful to them in some way. Airline miles or a cash back are still offered by some retailers.
If you have a Discover card you can get five percent cash back on any office supplies you purchase and on gas you will get a two percent cash back. Everyone can use that offer. The regular interest rate is up there at 13.99 and you must have a credit score that is higher than 740 to take advantage of this offer. The AT&T Business Rewards card give zero APR for six months, again, you need that over 740 score and not annual fee is charged.
